Terms And Conditions

1. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit ranging from ₹1500 to ₹5000 will be charged.
During promotional periods, this amount may be reduced.
The refund will be processed within 7 bank working days after the booking ends, subject to:
FASTag and traffic violation checks (may take 3–4 days post booking).

2. Pricing Plans & Extra Kilometres

Multiple kilometre packages are offered based on customer needs.
Kilometre limit = Booking duration × hourly km limit of the selected plan.
If the total driven distance exceeds the limit, extra km charges apply (based on car model and city).

3. Fuel Reimbursement

All kilometre packages are without fuel.
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup.
To qualify for a fuel refund:
Return with >20% extra fuel compared to start.
Share the vehicle number and fuel level at drop-off.

Bills should:
Match standard fuel efficiency.
Fall within the booking period.
Be printed, not handwritten.
No refunds will be processed for bills shared later.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be informed 24 hours before the start time.
70% refund if cancelled in time.
No refund if cancelled within 24 hours.

5. Rescheduling

Must be requested 24 hours prior to booking start.
Subject to car availability.

Conditions:
No change to start time.
Duration must be same or more.
Kilometre package cannot be changed.
Tariffs may differ for weekdays/weekends.

6. Booking Extension

Must be requested 24 hours prior to booking end time.
Minimum extension duration: 6 hours.
1-hour buffer time allowed after booking ends.

Charges:
Post-buffer (if informed): ₹250/hour.
Post-buffer (if NOT informed): ₹400/hour.
A complete video of the car must be shared.

7. Vehicle Swapping

Must be requested 24 hours before booking.
Subject to availability.
Charges may vary depending on car type.

8. Overspeeding

Speed limit: 80–110 km/h.
Exceeding 110 km/h will incur a ₹500 fine per violation.

9. Vehicle Damage & Accident Policy

A. General
Customer is liable if:
Not following laws or customer agreement.
Driving under the influence of alcohol/narcotics.

B. In Case of Damage
Max liability: ₹30,000.
Repair charges and downtime losses (equivalent rent during repair) apply.
If damage exceeds ₹30,000:
Insurance will be claimed.
Customer bears the difference + downtime losses.
Total loss: Customer pays difference, parking charges, and 3-month downtime loss.

C. Full Liability (No Insurance)
Drink & drive.
Driving off-road or on the beach (₹8000 penalty).
Illegal activities.
Unauthorised driver.
Overloaded vehicle.
No inter-state tax paid.
Fake/misrepresented documents.
Rash/negligent driving.
Violation of Motor Vehicles Act.

10. Cleanliness & Maintenance

Customer must return the car clean.
Penalties will apply for:
Tobacco/gum usage.
Smoking/burning substances.
Pet damage.
Stains, tears, excessive dirt, sand, or mud.
Deductions will be made from the security deposit.

11. Interstate Travel

Customers must pay tolls and state permits.
All vehicles have All India Permit.

For Bihar entry:
Inform customer support.
Vehicle with valid permit will be provided (if available).
Otherwise, customer must obtain permit.

12. FASTag

All vehicles are FASTag-enabled.
Customers must recharge FASTag before travel.
Recharge via PhonePe, GPay, Paytm and share screenshot at drop-off.

If not recharged:
Double toll amount may apply.
CARKING RANCHI is not liable for FASTag disputes.

13. Towing Charges

In case of user negligence or accident, towing charges are to be fully paid by the customer.

14. Personal Belongings

CARKING RANCHI is not responsible for:
Damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings.
This includes items belonging to user, co-passengers, or third parties.
